ĹThe city and municipality under Hasnabad police station of Basirhat subdivision in North 24 Paraganas district in the Indian State of West Bengal. Located at the Bank of Ichamati River. Literacy rate here is higher than national average rate and institutes like Taki government college & High School and Ramakrishna Mission also established a branch there and a library is also there . Bangladesh border is there opposite the bank of Ichamati river[Rajbari] and one can have a view around the water body via boat ride @ Rs 30/person on a share basis and private booking is also available approximately for half and hour and it's worth having a ride with friends and family. Other prominent places such as house of General Shankar Roy Choudhury and a traditional house where shoot of critically acclaimed bengali movie Bishorjan(2017) directed by Kaushik Ganguly starring Jaya Ahsan, Abir Chatterjee and Lama. Bakkhali is village under Namkhana police station of Namkhana CD block in Kakdwip subdivision of South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It's about 130 km from Kolkata and one can reach  via train through Sealdah Station or buses from Esplanade till Namkhana station and then catch a Toto(reserve basis) for Rs. 400 or bus for Rs. 22 per head towards Bakkhali bus stand. Fishing is the primary occupation of the people out here. Agriculture is almost non-existent due to the extreme salinity of adjacent sea. Overall a peace and calm place surrounded by Mangrove forest to spend a great weekend. Ben Fish fishing harbour- At Frasergunj run by Ben Fish, a wing of the state government has a presence nearby.
